ODR.com Offers OECD Advice on Design of an ODR System for Latvia

ODR.com’s CEO Colin Rule presented at a Peer-to-Peer dialogue session hosted by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) focused on the development of Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) in Latvia. The event was designed for a key set of Latvian stakeholders and was designed to cover the major ODR developments from around the world. 

Latvian civil society representatives in attendance included:

· Information Systems Development Division of the Information Systems and Technology Department, Court Administration

· Vidzeme Suburb Court of the City of Riga

· Legal Department of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

· Legal Aid Provision Division of the Legal Aid Administration

· Foreign Investors’ Council in Latvia (FICIL)


The session was capably hosted by Prof. Felix Steffek, from the University of Cambridge, who wrote the briefing paper that was distributed before the event. Presenters during the dialogue included:
